RAHDIAH BARNES - NAMIC NY PRESIDENT
Rahdiah Barnes is an Account Executive in telecommunications. During her 20- year career in the telecom industry, she has worked for Verizon, XO Communications, and Charter Communications. As a top performer, she has received prestigious awards including, The Presidents Club and The Achievers Cup for sales supremacy. In addition to excelling in her sales roles, she has developed and implemented community outreach programs for a variety of businesses and organizations. In the past, Rahdiah has worked in real estate as both an investor and agent. She has a BS in Business Management from St. John’s University and credits the school for implementing in her, the love of volunteering. Born in New York City, raised in upstate New York, she now lives in Manhattan. A recent empty nester, she has one son, William, a soon to be college graduate. She also is an avid traveler, having traveled to over 20 countries, working her way through 3 passports and 100’s of eateries all over the world. A big-time foodie, she runs a fun food blog that documents her love of all cuisines and different cultures. Rahdiah enjoys taking skill set online courses, watching documentaries, listening to 90’s Hip Hop, and living life to the fullest.
